    Qwlan64.sys blue screen cause of shutdown


    Hi,I have 2 new DELL Latitude rugged laptops. Both of them frequently crash and gives the follow code.System thread not handledStopcode QWLAN64.SYSI had multiple contacts with Dell but they can’t find the cause of this issue. Did someone had this before and has a solution for it?Both of them are up to date with all drivers and software.

    ATWPKT264.SYS BLUE SCREEN ON SHUTDOWN

    I am having a problem like I'm sure many Windows users with a blue screen that randomly appears only when I shutdown my computer. The blue screen appears with the message Driver_Removed_Holding_Cancel_Lock(ATWPKT264.SYS. I know that is related to my AOL
    software because I recently upgraded from version 9.7 to 9.8.1. I never had the problem with 9.7. I went back and de-installed 9.8.1 and re-installed 9.7 but I think the installation of 9.8.1 already did the damage. I look at C:\Windows\system32\drivers
    and I see 2 ATWPKT264.SYS drivers, ATWPKT264.SYS dated 2/25/2014 and ATWPKT264.bak dated 9/18/2012. The .SYS file has further identifying information: File Description, ATW Protocol Driver, Company, AOL, Version 4.10.1.9, Date Created 10/30/2015, Size 33.7
    KB. The .bak driver just says Type BAK file, size 33.2 KB, Date Modified 9/18/2012.

    Is there any way to fix this annoying blue screen problem at shutdown? I have tried to de-install and re-install the program several times to no avail. Can I just delete these drivers or will that cause a host of other issues. Please advise me of any
    suggestions you may have to enable me to resolve this issue.
