    Radeon Driver crashes


    Hi,

    I have a Dell Optiplex 780 running win 10 64-bit.

    I have installed a ASUS Radeon HD 5450 EAH5450 64bit 1GB DDR3 PCI-E VGA DVI HDMI Graphics Card, which someone on a Dell forum told me would run just fine on that PC.

    It runs but the driver crashes all the time, sometimes every minute. I have downloaded the, presumably, latest driver (Nov. 2015 dated) but it does make no difference. Can someone help to get rid of those crashes?

    Display Driver kept crashing

    Windows 10 64-bit

    AMD CPU

    AMD Radeon HD 5450

    I've tried both driver: Catalyst 15.7.1 and Crimson 16.1 beta. The display driver crashes from time to time and recovers immediately. Worse is when it gives a black screen and kept crashing many times (sound produced by Windows each time it crashes).

    Does anyone have problem like this? How did you troubleshoot?

    Radeon HD 5450 is in legacy support. I am thinking about upgrading the video card to one of the Radeon R5 series card which has Crimson prod build 16.1. Anyone has used it?
