    Ram mixing


    Ram Mixing is possible by these factors:


    1. Voltage and frequency must be same as the other ram.

    2. Ram mixing can be only done if you have ram values multiplied by 2eg. 2gb and 4gb, 4gb and 8gb

    3. the type of ram must have the same DDR value and DIMM type

    As you can see its running both 2gb and 4gb ram at the same speed on a 2 slot motherboard!

    No drivers, No Anything needed. Just add your ram and done!


    Just be careful of what factors that is needed to mix ram, because it can affect the motherboard itself.

    Mixing RAM

    I don't know wheather it is in the catagories or not.......but can I mix a 8 gb ddr3 1333mhz ram with a 2gb ddr3 1333mhz ram??...can my win 10 run it??

    My mobo is F2A55M-DS2

    & i have a 500 watt smps

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

    Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin Ram mixing :D
