I end up with this on certain occasions, and in all instances it seems to occur whenever Firefox is running. Tried updating the Realtek LAN drivers among other things, but I still end up with the said error. I'm using a Pentium G3258 (stock clocks, haven't overclocked it yet), 8GB of RAM, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 750, and an ASUS H81M-D motherboard.

Oh, and since you guys asked for it, I've attached a .dmp file with the crash info in question: Attachment 38368

    :)

BSOD (Blue screen error) on Windows 10 PC.

If you have an NVIDIA display adapter try rolling back the NVIDIA graphics driver to the previous stable version as there have been numerous reports of Kernel_Security_Check_Failure (0x139) errors with the last update (361.43) as reported on the GEFORCE
    Drivers forum:

    Hi huckleberrypie,

The cause is the ASUS software.
The driver that caused the crash is the ASUS USB 3.0 Boost Storage driver.
Please update or remove the software.

  5. Might as well disable it then. I also wonder if it accounts for the stuttering issues with GTA V or something...

I can't say that, I understand there are lots of problems with GTA V.

  7. Well yeah, though I run mine off a external hard drive and streaming issues still persist even when setting the process priority to high. But it might have been something else.

The stuttering might be caused by the external hard drive.
Accessing a program from an external hard drive is slower then from an internal hard drive.

  9. There's that, but other users are complaining about similar issues even on internal SSDs so blaming it on an external drive is moot. But I digress. At least the issue's more or less solved, but I am yet to test it to see if ASUS' USB3 drivers have something to do with it.

If you have tested and get a bluescreen, please use the tool again and upload the zip file.
