Windows 10: Random and recurring computer crashe/freezes while gaming

Hello, I've been busy with memtests whole week, thanks for your patience.

I got 2 x 8gb RAM sticks, I'll name them RAM A and RAM B henceforth. I got 4 DIMM slots, named DIMM #1-4.

So onwards to the memtests. As I said before, my first memetest froze after one (1) pass with both RAM sticks installed. Two freezes/crashes happened with this configuration, both after just one (1) pass.

So I removed RAM B from DIMM 2, ran the test with just RAM A in DIMM 1. Got 8 passes just fine. I put RAM A in DIMM 2, ran the test with 8 passes.

I removed RAM A, put RAM B in DIM 1 and got 8 passes. Put RAM B in DIMM 2, 8 passes.

As a last test I put back RAM A into DIMM 1, RAM B into DIMM 2 (my origional configuration) and ran the test with 10 passes just fine.

Is it possible that there was something wrong with some play between a RAM stick and a DIMM slot before? As I've moved around both RAMs alot and got 10 passes where I before crashed just after 1?

My plan now is to try some games during the weekend to see if the crashes comes back. If they do, ill remove one ram stick and keep playing to see if they still appare.

If the crashes presists, I will continue down Your list of troubleshooting. I'd like to keep the thread open for now.

Nice progress.
It appears that it may have been a contact issue for the RAM in the DIMM and that re-seating the RAM fixed the problem.

The Drive and Memtest86+ version 5.01 each passed.

The computer can be used (typical use or several days) to see if there are any more BSOD.
If there are none you can close the case.
The Windows OS has not yet been upgraded and you may want to troubleshoot the failure to upgrade.
When there is a failure there are Panther logs that have information about the failure.
These logs are in code and need to be decoded. Let us know if you want this to be troubleshooted at this time.
