    Earlier today I was just using my PC, same as usual, when both monitors suddenly went black and started showing the no signal message. I unplugged and reconnected both ends of the cables, tried different ports on my GPU but nothing. I then tried to connect through teamviewer but it refused to connect. Ended up having to turn it off at the wall.

    When I turned it back on it displayed the message about overclocking failure, but I'm only using the XMP profile it gives me, no tweaking, and the cooling/PSU are more than adequate.

    Anyone have any ideas what could have been the cause of this and how I can prevent it happening in the future?

    Please provide more information to help you better:

    • Are you getting black screen before sign in or after sign in?
    • Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
    • Have you installed all the pending Windows updates?

    As my title says it all ...... no idea why these random Black Screens are happening ....... I can be using my computer for HOURS or 15min and a RANDOM black screen will happen. EVERYTHING is unresponsive even the main power button. I have to pull the power
    cord to shut the computer down and restart. As i type this letter I am nervous that i will not finish before a RANDOM BLACK SCREEN happens!!!!!!

    Black Screen after Log on


    Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next.
