Constant Crashing / BSOD

Hey. I've been having issues with my computer crashing or bluescreening. The time inbetween the crashes are random, and the messages in the BSOD's are seemingly random. If you need anything to help ID the problem, please let me know.

Thanks for your time

3. Windows 10 BSODs

Hi,

Since I upgraded my Windows 7 to Windows 10 in August, I collect the BSODs once for each day :

- Driver IRQL Not Less Or Equal (Boot)

- Bad Pool Caller (Random crash)

- Bad Pool Header (Random crash)

- System Service Exception (Random crash)

- Interrupt Exception Not Handled (Boot)

- IRQL Not Less Or Equal (Random crash)

- PFN List Corrupt (Random crash)

- Kernel Security Check Failure (Random crash)

- Internal Power Error (Random crash)

- Kernel Locked Stack At Exit (Reboot)

- System Thread Exception Not Handled (Boot)

Is it a problem with the Nvidia driver ?

I updated the driver yesterday but the BSOD still occurs.

Random BSOD crashes

Hi dkincog,

Welcome to the 10forums.

Please check {windows partition}\windows\minidump and check if there are any dump files saved.
The zip is empty of dump files.
Please make sure your pc is configured for small dump files How to configure minidump | Windows 10 tutorial

I have tried to configure minidump.
I did it in prompt, but I have had another BOSD and it still does't show anythin in the "minidump map".

On the BSOD however I could read the follwoing:
driver_irql_not_less_or_equal(DbgMsg.sys).
I googled this, and microsoft tells me to install "Network adapter drivers" through this weblink
Download Network Adapter Driver for Windows 10
But did not succeed here aither:
"Cannot install drivers. No Intell(R) Adapters are present in this computer.

Looking at your uploaded files it belongs to compuware driverstudio which is not installed (anymore).
Please create a restore point and remove the driver after the restore point is created.

The driver is located in
Code: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\
Please check your installed apps and check if you have the program Compuware installed.
If not, reboot your system and try deleting the driver again.

Please download and install Malwarebytes free (Uncheck trial version in the installation process)
Please run a threat scan with Malwarebytes, a full scan with your AV, scan your system with Adwcleaner and Kaspersky TTDSKiller.

Please check the registry for the folder DbgMsg, located at
Code: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\
Search regedit and press enter to open registry.

I did a scan with AVG and it seems that the driver has been removed.
Afterwords I had many problems with starting up windows 10...it got stuck every time in the process of starting up.
Bu finally after 10 times or so, it started up just fine...and now everything seems to be working OK.
No more BSOD anymore untill know...fngers crossed.
Thanks a lot,
David (from Belgium)
