Random BSOD on computer with different error message

    Hi,
Im in desperate need for help with my pc.
Have had home builds for years with no big issues before windows 8.1 and now windows 10.
I thought i had issues with memory or graphic card on my previous computer so i ended up buying new parts for a new build.
But nothing changed. Not so frequent as before but up to several times a day my computers gets an BSOD
I must say it is random for me what i am doing while this happends.
Different messages before restarting. The 2 last one while trying to create this thread and making the dump zip file was
Kernel check failure and DPC watchdog violation.

I have no knowledge with debug so i am stuck.

I really hope someone can help it is getting very enoying.

    Thanks. *Smile

    Hi,

Since the last 2 days I've been facing BSOD on my Lenovo Ideapad y510p running Windows 10 (64bit)

I've been running win10 for quite a few months now without any issues.

    Error messages -

    I created these using BlueScreenView

These issues are mostly seen when I'm running a game ( dota2.exe) and occasionally while browsing as well. This specific problem only started a few days back and no hardware changes were made.

    What I've tried-

Updating windows to the latest version

    Reset PC (kept personal files).

    Full antivirus check

Updated all drivers in device manager wherever possible. (Rolled back Nvidia graphic drivers/ Updated intel HD graphic drivers ).

    system integrity check

    chkdsk

apart from the 3 logs I've posted above I've also received Kernel power failure but that seems to have subsided after I did the above mentioned things.

Please help me fix this issue.

  3. Constant BSOD with different error message everytime. ( Windows 10, Laptop 64bit)

    Hi Gautam,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. I will assist you with this.

The DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL bug check has a value of 0x000000D1. This indicates that a kernel-mode driver attempted to access pageable memory at a process IRQL that was too high.

I would suggest you to go to the NVidia graphics card manufacturers website and download the latest drivers for Windows 10 and try to install it and see if it helps.

If the drivers are not available for Windows 10 I would suggest you to install the drivers in compatibility mode and see if it helps.

Now, to install in Compatibility Mode, follow these steps:

    a. Locate the executable file (.exe file) for the driver installation program.

    b. Right-click the file, and then click Properties.

    c. In the Package Name Properties dialog box, click the Compatibility tab.

    d. Click to select the Run this program in compatibility mode for check box, click Windows 8 with which it is compatible with in the Run this program in compatibility mode for list, and then click OK.

    e. Double-click the executable file to start the installation program.

    Hope this helps.

Please get back to us with the results we will be happy to help you further.

Random BSOD on computer with different error message

    Hi rodoet,

    Welcome to the 10forums.

Please check ASUS for BIOS updates.

Please uninstall everything of AMD using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from AMD. Be sure to ONLY install the drivers using custom/advanced options.

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

    Hi axe0

    Thanks for the answer.

I have now unistalled the drivers and re installed my Asus Graphic card R290
Install the new AMD driver with custom options.

I will tonight run the Mem test and comeback with the final outcome.

If there is any RAM issues or if everything is ok, i will run for a few days and se if things are better.

Mayeb i should clear the fault log history and start scratch?
If so how do i best proceed to clear the dump history?

    BR

It is prefered to not clear anything, the dumps and logs can help with finding a patern to find the cause and solution easier.
