Random BSOD on new computer, drivers up to date

All memory and CPU settings can be changed in the BIOS. I suggest you go through the BIOS and adjust any that are set too high. Refer to the manual but you can also post photos of the screens if you need more help.

I don't actually know how you have set up your system - you mentioned overclocking in your first post but was that just the Turbo boost? How have you set up your memory?

    Hi,

this computer is around 2 months old, the only used parts in it are my sound card and graphics card which are from my previous machine.

I have been having intermittent problems with BSOD for the past couple of weeks - some days it happens multiple times but it can go a few days without any problems and I can't think of any cause for it.

The advice I have been given is to check all drivers are up to date, which I have done, but this still happens.

Could somebody please help decipher what is going wrong with my PC?

  3. Windows 10 x64 BSOD irql not less or equal

    Hi there!

I have Lenovo T460s UltraBook with Windows 10 x64 onboard and the same problem but...

BSOD's shows up in very random times. All my drivers are up to date (updated today from official Lenovo site).

Computer starts normally works fine and... BSOD. Last one was few minutes ago. Computer was idle. I've started Windows after BSOD, logged in and did nothing. After 3 or 4 minutes Windows crashed with BSOD.

    All factory diagnostics passed.

    Memory dump is here:

    https://1drv.ms/u/s!An3BHu_b5TxXiP1kZ9m_ZWe-rJdRaQ

I hope that someone can help me.

    Regards

    SK

Keyboard stops working - Power Drive Failure

    Hi all

So I have this issue in windows 10 where the keyboard of my laptop stops responding at random instances . None of the keys work. No other part of the computer is affected while is still on. Restarting the computer when this occurs results in a BSOD and
a " Driver Power state failure error message". When forcing the computer to restart by pressing the power button resolves the issue . But the keyboard still stops at random intervals. I have already check all the drivers and they are up to date and there
are no yellow explamation marks in device manager. Can anyone please help?

    Hello rellane,

    Welcome to TenForums *Smile

I am a bit concerned you may be overclocking or using memory at too high a clock frequency. Two of these BSOD have been attributed to hardware errors. The recommended memory for this processor is DDR4-2666, Maximum Turbo boost is 4.70GHz.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the quick response

Is there anything I can do to fix this myself, or will I need to replace parts to fix this?
