This bsod of death seems to happen everyday now and usually random while playing online, but the screen is distorted so i cant view the reason why
I
use a lot of software that i need and dont want to factory reset because itd be almost impossible to tell what is the culprit

I have run memtest86 chkdsk dxdiag sfcscanow(everything passed) updated all my drivers and downloaded every windows update. i have checked for viruses with bit defender and everything is clean. i have done a fresh install of my gpu driver. I have been anal retentive over everything and still cant find the problem.

BSODs when I use different programs. ntoskrnl.exe named as one of the causes in each dumpfile.

Hey, I've had some problems with my PC for a while now. Bought it dec 2015 and problems started in January.

I have been getting random BSODs and random crashes to desktop. Usually when browsing the web (and watching videos) and playing games. It's happened alot so i have a link to one drive with different information:

- The computed is built by me. Not branded. The motherboard is msi z170a pc mate.

- This is is a link to a one driver folder with: 1. System information file. 2. Driver view report. 3. Windows dump files (for bsod's last 14 days)

3. Unexpected Store Exception since Upgrading to Windows 10

Since upgrading to Windows 10, I've been plagued with a BSOD that occurs at random while playing any game, regardless of it's age. For example, while making a character in Fallout Tactics the computer BSOD'ed. While fighting a demon in Dragon Age Inquisition,
a BSOD occurred. But it's not just while gaming, it has happened once or twice while browsing the web, downloading software or a game etc.

The BSOD just states "Unexpected_Store_Exception" then hands at 0% for about 5 seconds or so before rebooting. I've gone through my settings and found nothing wrong, there is no reason for no mini dump being made or any report. Eventually I thought maybe
it's because I upgraded from Windows 7 so I did a refresh on my PC using the Windows 10 utility for it in Settings. Refreshed, reinstalled what I needed etc. Still occurs. Because it says "Store" I figured it may then be Windows Store causing it, but 90% of
the time I've not even opened Windows Store because I don't even use it or have any need for it.

All Drivers are Up to Date. So is Windows 10.

Hardware wise I have an intel i7 CPU, GeForce 960 GPU, 12GB of RAM, 1TB HDD and an Asus Motherboard.

The Computer is self-built and is only 4 years old, made it for when Windows 8 came out.

I have checked everything, my Hard Drive's health is at 100%, Operating Temperatures are fine and within tolerable levels. Drivers are up to date. No malware, root kits, viruses or other form of infection. Prior to a BSOD the Hard Drive does make a chirp
sound and that usually gives me about 3 or 4 seconds of a warning. Though this is not always the case, sometimes it's just purely random and out of the blue.

I've been contemplating downgrading to Windows 7, but I don't want to buy the OS again or have to re-upgrade to Windows 10 in a year or so.

The windows error reports you have included above are not for the BSOD events. We ask you to provide the logfiles for a reason - they include a lot of information that allows us to investigate the BSOD events.

p.s. i think its when playing the google chrome browser based games(the only games i play) but i am not certain on the bsod trigger. this computer is fairly new and ran into this problem a few weeks in. I did not take meticulous notes of what software i had installed back then.

I think nearly all of these errors are related to the graphics driver:

Code: VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR (119) The video scheduler has detected that fatal violation has occurred. This resulted in a condition that video scheduler can no longer progress. Any other values after parameter 1 must be individually examined according to the subtype. *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for atikmpag.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for atikmpag.sys *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for atikmdag.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for atikmdag.sys
One crash dump picked up the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver was misbehaving:
Code: ffffa300`54d4ed50 fffff80b`2e372400Unable to load image \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\iaStorA.sys, Win32 error 0n2 *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for iaStorA.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for iaStorA.sys iaStorA+0x82400
Please update the graphics driver. The best way to do this is to uninstall everything of AMD using Display Driver Uninstaller and install the driver for AMD listed on the DELL support page for your system.

The Intel RST driver for your device can also be found on the Dell support page, you should try reverting to the one recommended by DELL.

No, the DDU is only for the display driver.

10. I try to roll back my Intel HD 630 graphics card but the option isn't available in device manager so there's no way to revert that graphics card through device manager. There was no update for the driver either through dell support. I bought this computer two months ago and it's a relatively new model so that is probably why there were no updates for the driver.

IRST:

On the Dell website expand the serial ATA to identify the Intel rapid storage technology driver.

Using control panel uninstall Intel fapid storate technology and then reinstall from the Dell website.

AMD graphics:

1) Uninstall everything AMD using Display driver uninstaller and install new drivers from the Dell or the AMD website.

2) The Dell web site is preferred.

3) Enter the computer's serial or product number and the operating system to view available drivers.

4) If you use the AMD web site be sure the "clean install" box is checked and only install the graphics driver.

12. almost done i have done all of the steps listed except for the video section for the dell website hd graphics driver. should i use display driver uninstaller to remove my current graphics driver for intel and then install the one on the website or should i just let the updater update the hd graphics without first uninstalling? I uninstallerd the amd one with the display driver uninstaller before downloading the dell preferred amd driver-i mention this to not raise concerns about the amd driver process i took. this hd graphics driver process for intel is my last obstacle before i can take a screen shot.

The DDU software should uninstall AMD and Nvidia video drivers.
It should not uninstall Intel video drivers. If there is something that indicates that it will uninstall the Intel video drivers please post that into the thread.

Here it is every driver including the amd one was derived or updated from the dell website. i will give it a week to see if i get back into problems again.

p.s. i originally used slim driver to update my drivers(before seeking help on these forums) and am wondering if that was probably the culprit in the beginning?

WARNING: I went ahead and used ddu for the intel graphics driver without reading your response; i didnt know we reached page 2 for this thread(which is why i didnt see your response), and then I just installed the updated one from the dell website.

When updating drivers only use drivers from the computer manufacturer.
If they are not available from the computer manufacturer then you can use component manufacturer.
When using drivers from driver update websites you don't know what you are getting
The component manufacturer creates the drivers. The computer manufacturer may modify the drivers for their computers.
So the best drivers are always from the computer manufacturer.
