I've cleaned and reinstalled the drivers through your instructions, but I wonder whether to keep the driver version 16.11.4 (Nov 15th) provided on the manufacturers website, or to upgrade to the later 16.12.2 (Dec 19th) through the Radeon Settings(?)

Not sure if running the current driver would be stable, yet I have had notable problems on Crimson ReLive 16.12.X editions.

Well, you had a problem with the driver currently installed so I'd say try the latest. You can always roll back if things get worse.

I was just about to mark this as solved as I have had a week without any BSOD's and I truly thank you for the help as it has become less frequent. Ironically, I just experienced one not too long ago today:
Bit of a bummer really! Dump attached

I noticed there are several BIOS updates on the Asrock web site. Don't know if updating will make a difference but it's worth a try.

    970 Pro3 R2.0

There is a red +next to each download that tells you how to do the update3.

Also, the latest dump shows this:
Code: fffff803`86de3848 fffff807`e69cfb15*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for atikmpag.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for atikmpag.sys atikmpag+0xfb15[/quote] That belongs to your AMD Radeon (TM) R9 380 Series driver. What you have is version 21.19.384.0 dated Sun Dec 4 11:07:30 2016.

There is an updated driver available from AMD: Radeon Software Crimson Edition ReLive Graphics Driver Installer for Windows 10 64-Bit

    From Carrona's DRT:
Driver Description: ATI Video driver (remove the Catalyst Control Center and only install the Display Driver)

Thanks for the heads-up! I've updated the BIOS and installed the current Crimson ReLive 16.2.2 (Jan 3rd).

I've struggled to find the Catalyst Control Center / Catalyst Install Manager to uninstall, and have only found "AMD Software" - is this what it's referring to?

It would be called Catalyst Control Center.

I suggest completely uninstalling the display drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) from WagnardMobile (near bottom of page) then install the latest driver for your card.

Then do a custom install of only the Display driver, not CCC.

    Hello once again!
I've been quite busy the past weeks so apologies on abandoning this.
But anyway, I have been able to install the driver with CCC via this method and recently installed the recent 17.1.2 driver through this (uninstalling with DDU), yet I have a significant issue of PC unresponsiveness for varying degree's of time when on high load.

Making matters worse, I've had two blue screens in the past week errors being:

You still have some real old drivers:

    2011/07/12 22:00:01 \??\C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware\SASKUTIL64
    2011/07/22 00:03:00 \??\C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware\SASDIFSV64

I suggest uninstalling SAS for now,

Thanks for pointing these out, I've since uninstalled SAS, I had already uninstalled PdaNet a while back but I've manually deleted the driver.

I'm struggling to find the update driver for AsrDrv101.sys or the AsRock I/O driver. There doesn't seem to be a relevant driver from the list they provide (may be under another one of these drivers listed?), and the integrated APP Shop doesn't seem to pick it up.

    Cheers
