    Random BSODs while working

After switching to Windows 10 from Windows 7 and performing a clean install, I am getting occasional BSODs and I am unaware of any trigger...

Please see my reports attached - I tried to do some research and it seems to be related with some symbols but I do not know what that means.

I will be thankful for any feedback as I am getting the BSODs while working on my laptop (translator).

    Random BSODs while working

    Hi tvano,

    Welcome to the 10forums.

Please remove / disable items from the startup in taskmanager
These programs could interfere with the boot process giving you trouble.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

    • Uninstall Daemon Tools
    • Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
      • Double click the executable to open it
      • Click on the button shown below

    Random BSODs while working [IMG]

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window

Please move some files from the D partition to increase the free space to at least 10-15%.
Every partition needs at least 10-15% free space so Windows can do its thing in the background.

Warning Less free space could cause BSOD's

    Please do the following:
    • Open taskmanager
      • Go to the tab startup
      • disable everything
    • Search msconfig and open it
      • Go to the tab services
      • Check 'hide microsoft services'
      • Uncheck all other services
      • Click apply and click ok
    • Reboot if asked
See if the problem persist, if the problem does not persist enable in the services tab in msconfig also 1 service, reboot and see if the problem persist. Keep doing this until you find the culprit or there is nothing left.

Please check your manufacturer for driver updates for your CPU.
If there are no driver updates, please make sure your CPU is clean of dust.

Thank you for the fast reply.

I uninstalled DT and moved some files from the D drive. I will wait if a BSOD appears again and will continue with your instruction if it does. I will also check the laptop for dust inside today.

Another BSOD today, I still did not clean the dust as I need to buy a small screwdriver.

Here is some info from today's minidump:
