  1. Random BSOD's with different error codes

    Hello everyone,

I have one PC in the company that constantly reboots itself at completely random times, but often, sometimes as soon as login screen is displayed. Version is 1909.

I have done a clean reinstall of windows 10 PRO numerous times but the issue persists, sometimes starting to get BSOD during the actual install of the OS.

The errors I get range a lot and include:

    page_fault_in_nonpaged_area
    unexpected_kernel_mode_trap
    attempted_execute_of_non_execute_memory
    system_service_exception dxgkrnl.sys
    irql_not_less_or_equal

    and others...

    Specs are:

    Intel pentium G4400
    1 stick of 8gb Crucial 1067mhz ram
    ASrock H110M motherboard
    IntelHD Graphics 510
    120gb Kingston SATA SSD
    A DVD-RW optical drive
    Realtek high definition audio

I have tried to troubleshoot memory with bootable tools and processor by burning it but no issues detected that way, also tried swapping out mouse/keyboard and monitor (nothing else is attached to it)

One very interesting thing is that when I tried to put Ubuntu linux on it it worked without restarting a single time whole day while doing various tasks.

So because of that I am completely lost as to what is the actual issue here and would appreciate any help.

I have attached the logs made by the tool in the stickied post, it is a clean reinstall made less then 2 hours ago but already got 5-10 reboots

    :)

BSOD during gaming, plethora of different error codes!

Hello and welcome to TenForums Random BSOD's with different error codes :)

The log files that you provided only show one crash dump file so there is not a lot of information to go on. Furthermore the bugcheck code is not one I have ever seen before!

The stack recorded in the dump includes some references to storage and the analysis suggests memory corruption and so with nothing else to go on I would suggest that you do a check on the hard disk and RAM. This maybe the same as you have already run but it would be good to see the results.

    Try CHKDSK
    using option 3
    Then

    Diagnostics Test [/i] HDD TEST
    *Arrow Run HDTune to
    • check the health,
    • scan for errors, no quick scan but full scan
    • run a benchmark.
It may take some time, but please take the time you need to perform it properly.
When above is done please make screenshots of the following
    • the health,
    • the error scan,
    • the benchmark incl. following
      • transfer rate,
      • access time,
      • burst rate,
      • cpu usage.

Similarly with a memory test it would be good to post the results after you have run memtest86+ for a minimum of 8 passes

You indicated that many more crashes have occurred, however, they are not being recorded. Please make sure that your system is setup to record crash dump files: Configure Windows 10 to Create Minidump on BSOD

If the BSOD errors are all different it does tend to suggest a hardware problem. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

  3. BSOD during gaming, plethora of different error codes!

Here you go, the HD tune scans, did memtest but after 1.5hrs only one pass had been finished so will leave it on tonight again for more passes.

Random BSOD's with different error codes

    Random BSOD while browsing internet

BitDefender is nothing special. mwac.sys causes BSODs anywhere.
A tiny documentation can be found here: Solved Random BSODs - Windows 10 Forums
In that very thread, the suggested action apparently worked.

The storage and network filters of any third party antivirus can cause BSODs. Neither MBAM nor BitDefender is any special. For a regular antivirus, it may be shifted to an alternative; but MBAM has no alternative. So a clean install of the said program is the most feasible first step.
As far as the first step is not failing, it is better to not think for the second step. Because the BSODs are not universal, failure at the first step is not universal; and success at the second step is also not universal.
That is why I posted that my suggestion may work, or may not. Let us see where it goes.
