Windows 10: Random file name appear on mai E:/ drive

    Random file name appear on mai E:/ drive


    Hello, for Windows 10 always appease some randomly named files with numbers a letter. In them I find a couple of files with file extension.

    Flash drives names

    Kiran,

    The "troubleshooter" did not report any anomalies.

    As I indicated, the flash drives sometimes appear w/their correct names in File Explorer and
    sometimes they are listed w/their generic drive names. ["E:", "G"] The problem is random. [But they ALWAYS have the correct names in Computer Management] This issue did not occur in Win 8. Thanks for trying.

    Random folders appearing to my new hard drive

    So this kind of files appear daily onto my hard drive.

    Inside the files there are file of random words, for example:
    Random file name appear on mai E:/ drive 8f406cc8af0ef98ee3ddbc44517ef8ca.png


    I have tried removing them, which didnt work because they kept appearing. Anyone has a solution how to stop these files from appearing onto my hard drive?

    You need to find out what is creating them exactly, right click the folders and see what they are tied to.
