Discus and support Random Freezes/BSoDs? in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; I used my old RAM sticks from my previous build.     Random Freezes/BSoDs?


    I used my old RAM sticks from my previous build. Confirmed them working prior to the tests just to be sure.

    Test 1: DIMM 1. Got an unexpected error about 10 minutes in (Unexpected Error - CPU halted.)
    Test 2: DIMM 2. Same error about the same time in.
    Test 3: DIMM 3. Passed all 8 tests with no errors.
    Test 4: DIMM 4. Passed all 8 tests with no errors.

    I should also mention that my mb will not even pick up the RAM in slots 1 and 2 now. There is an audible 'click' noise when it is seated properly, but it still could not detect it. (This is for both new and old.)

    That does sound like a motherboard issue as you assumed.
