Windows 10: Random icon appeared on desktop

While downloading files that might have contained malware, I noticed a screencast o' matic logo popping up on my desktop. It disappeared after a few seconds. Is it possible that someone hacked into my computer? How can I delete the program?

Help! Random desktop scrollbar appeared


Hi,
After last night my icons were suddenly arranged as if in list mode (as if you had clicked ctrl+alt+6 on the desktop)
now that its been put back, then this random scrollbar has appeared to the right and i cannot seem to get rid of it, please help !

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

 

Desktop Icons Won't Stay Put

As per the issue description I understand that you are facing issues with desktop icons.

I suggest you try the following step in order to arrange the icons.

• Right click on the desktop.
• Click on view
• Check the option auto arrange icons.
