    Random Lag, Power usage on some things very high, mouse lag and beeping


    Ok, so for about 2 months or so, iv'e had this issue and not sure how to fix it, iv'e tried countless things to fix this.Tried troubleshooting my power settings which changed nothing. I have NOT hardware reset my PC yet, although if there are no further fixes or any optional changes i can make, i'll use that as a last resort as iv'e hundreds of thousands of files i'd rather not want to lose. If anyone could help me out, it'd help big time! Thanks, Zae.

    Mouse Beeping and Lagging

    My mouse is doing a random beep sound when I move it.

    And it often lags.

    I really need help, I cannot work with a bad mouse.

    Random Mouse lagging And beeping sound

    Random mouse beeps and lag randomly happen whatever I am doing on my PC, especially when clicking fast, not my mouse as issue happens whatever mouse I seem to use. Started happening a couple months ago.

    Specs: Omen Laptop

    GTX 1060 6GB

    Random Mouse Lagging and beeping !


    This post got me thinking that it may indeed be the XBox One Controller; so I booted up the XBox One Accessories app and lo and behold there was a controller firmware update waiting. I installed that, reset my PC and bOoM, no more lag or mouse beeping. So...

    ***TO FIX THIS ISSUE***

    1. Open the XBOX ACCESSORIES APP (available in the Windows app store if you don't have it)
    2. Update controller firmware
    3. Reset PC
    4. VOILA! Issue should be resolved.
