Windows 10: Random Lock Screen Image Chooser

Hello,

So I've posted about something similar to this in the past, yet there was no solution. I'm hoping that now, after a year, maybe this 'idea' exists.

So I'm looking for an app that can choose a random image, from a folder of 10 images for example, to load as the computer's Lock Screen Image every time the Lock Screen loads.

Examples:
• Suppose the computer is off right now and I turn it on. When the computer loads, Image1.jpg will load for the Lock Screen image. Now I leave the computer idle for a while (the account locks and it goes to the Lock Screen). Now I see Image4.jpg for the Lock Screen.
• I log in and start using the computer again. After a while, I'm done and I sign off my account from the computer. The Lock Screen loads, and I see Image9.jpg.
• The computer did some updates and needs to restart. The computer restarts and the Lock Screen loads. I see Image5.jpg in the Lock Screen.
• etc...

Does anyone know if a 3rd party app like this now exists? Thanks.

Random Lock Screen Image


Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone knows of anyone who has made this program yet?

Say I have 10 images that I really like, and every time I go to the Lock Screen in Windows 10, a random one of those ten images will be loaded as my Lock Screen image.

I already have a Slide Show that plays on my Lock Screen a few seconds after my Lock Screen activates. Yet there are a select few images that I really like, and would love to see them randomly appear as the initial image on my Lock Screen.

Random Lock Screen Image

Yes, that is correct. I saw that tutorial by Shawn (Brink) that you posted, yet it only applies to the Lock Screen Slideshow, not the Lock Screen Image itself.

I did a small video so you, and others, can have a visual to see what I'm talking about =)

00:02 - That's when I press Windows Button + L (to lock the account), this is the Lock Screen Image that I have
00:13 - Lock Screen Slideshow begins to play
00:32 - I log back into my account. (Apparently the video recorder program that I'm using turns the password screen blank)
00:35 - Back to the Desktop
00:40 - I press Windows Button + L. Now I go back to my same Lock Screen Image.
00:51 - Lock Screen Slideshow begins to play... etc.

So notice when I pressed Windows Button + L, I go to that same image. I want a random one of ten selected images to load right when I press Windows Button + L. I hope this clears up some of the confusion. =)

Lock Screen Image Too Big

• Is this issue occurs only when the pictures are set from OneDrive?

I suggest you to set the picture for the lock screen using the default lock screen pictures and check whether the issue persist or not, follow the below steps to set the pictures.

• Go to “settings” and click on “personalization”.
• Under “lock screen” tab, select the option from the drop box as “picture”.
• Then under “choose your picture” option, click on any picture and go to the lock screen, check whether the issue persists or not.
