Windows 10: Random restarts

Hello.


I'm having issues with random restarts. Never had them while having windows 7...I regret so much it got discontinues.


There is no warning. its frequency is completely random as well. The most frequent being 2 times a day toward once per month. So I can't even tell if whatever I do works or not. I already lost many times hours of whatever I did and did not save. Sometimes it does even when I'm not doing anything.


I did untick the: Automatic restart in advance settings

I updated everything I could though, to this day, updating the windows was the biggest mistake, only issues after issues

Its a PC so no power plans but still did change it around.

I redid the graphic card



I don't have IT knowledge so I don't know were to log for any status report or similar

Hardware failure or system instability can cause the computer to
randomly restarts. As our initial troubleshooting step, we suggest you to run the Power troubleshooter on your computer and check if it fixes the issue. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows key.
• Type Troubleshoot.
• Under Find and fix other problems look for
  Power.
• Then Run the troubleshooter.

Random restarts

when you start the computer up press F8 repeatedly until you get a list of how to start windows, choose do not automatically restart on system failure. if your getting bsod's list what your getting here so we can further help you. IF the system is not getting bsod's and still restarting as you say then i would look into getting a line conditioner for your computer as you might be having power issues.
