  1. Random Windows 10 shutdown when not in use

    Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to solve is puzzling problem. Lately, since 6 month ago or so I've begun experiencing this problem where my computer shutsdown randomly. I began attempting to solve it by eliminating hardware problems. first, i ran verifier which stated that [tracker.sys] is the identifiable bluescreen reason for random shutdown. I then went and ran memtest, checked for any viruses via Defender. The results were my memory is good, and Defender did not find any viruses. Until about 4 months ago, I was part of Microsoft community for early stable windows 10 tester. I'm currently running winver1909 and left Community insider program. I was until Mid January part of the Microsoft Edge Dev tester. All of this has led me to see if i can find a pattern or a solid reason i can solve but I've yet to succeed. I hope this information helps, I also included a folder which will have extracted Report of time and date of failure and multiple files to help resolve this, shared via Onedrive. Link is below.

    Thanks in advance

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Random Windows 10 shutdown when not in use

    Random shutdowns by Windows 10

Windows 10 keeps making random shutdowns. It says it needs to collect some info & will then restart itself for me,. That is as much as I can read before it shuts down. Win10 does this at random times, sometimes while I am playing a game, watching a video
& when working on something. I have run the Admin CMD before & after these shutdowns, I even held the off button in, making a hard shutdown & ran the the recovery environment checking for errors etc.. There are not any errors reported & no files need to be fixed.

How do I stop Win10 from making these useless & annoying shutdowns?
