    Randomly loosing internet connection

    Hi!

Lately, I have been facing a problem with win 10.

The surfacing problem is that randomly, windows stops being able to reach any network.

Checking the settings though through the UI as well as through ipconfig, the network seems to still be well configured to connect to my home network.

I am facing the problem on WiFi but did not check yet whether the problem also appears on ethernet.

The WiFi interface is configured to be automatically configured using DHCP.

In order to debug the issue, I started a wireshark instance and left it run for a while after starting the computer.

The outcome seems to show a correlation between network loss and the presence of DHCP INFORM packets sent on the network 30 seconds after hahing received a DHCP ACK.

From the capture I got I observe that after the DHCP INFORM packets, a new plain DHCP request is broadcasted on the network without previous discover, while successful requests were previously sent directly to my DHCP server.

I am having hard time trying to understand what causes those DHCP INFORM that seems to be tearing down my network, until I disconnect and re-connect.

Would anybody have experienced a similar situation and have any clue about how to solve it?

    :)
