    Hi Brink, I tried the .bat as well but had no luck. Forget exactly what the error (red text) was. I'll have to try again this evening and share that.

    I have the same issue as shobuddy(windows store not even listed in the Get-AppxPackage list).

    Of note about my install, I did not use the express setup. I used mostly heavy handed privacy settings. I am also running build 10240.

    I just ran the .bat and the screenshot looks exactly likes coderwolf's. Also like him, I'm using a local login, not MS account login.

    The error message is basically saying that it can't find the Store's location to re-register it.

    Did you uninstall the Store or all apps?

    I can truly only speak fore my process. but no, I did no uninstalls of any kind. Mine was the final insider enterprise build. It simply did not install when I used a non-express install. There also does not appear to be any packages listed in \AppData\local (as mentioned earlier).

    I uninstalled all apps including store. When I run the bat, I get the error shown above in post #35. When I run the command from powershell, I get this error.

    That looks like the error message I got when I simply copying and pasting the command into powershell.

    I will test that when I am at work tomorrow, At least it looks like it will keep the user profile in place and just fools with the system profile.
