re-setting time on my PC, Windows 10. Daylight savings time.

I need help re-setting time on my PC, Windows 10.

    Daylight savings time just occurred.

My PC shows incorrect time i.e. is showing 12 noon; should be 11am.

I can go to "Date & time" in "Settings"; but areas to Reset are not active 'links'; show gray color/not active 'links'.

    Set time automatically is "ON"./green.

and Set time zone automatically is "ON"./green.

I was in contact 2 hours ago with Microsoft Advisor. Command window keystrokes did not work for me.

    :)

  2. Windows 10 Daylight Savings Time Not Working

I've tried doing this (Windows 10: Daylight Saving Time Adjustment not working)
several times on three different machines (they're all having the same problem), but it doesn't work.

    Here's what I do:

    - Go into Date & Time - see both "auto adjust" and "set daylight savings" is off

    - EITHER set daylight savings time to adjust, or auto adjust, and see that it is set

    - If I do auto adjust time, it resets "set daylight savings time" to be off

    - If I leave auto adjust off, but daylight savings to on, then click away, and click back, daylight savings is still off

My machine is fully updated, Windows 10, and I'm in PDT.

    Suggestions?

  3. Windows 10: Daylight Saving Time Adjustment not working

I had the same issue and tmillernl's fix worked for me. Woke up this morning to the time being an hour ahead (PC was left on overnight, but went to sleep). This is on Windows 10. I did things in the order suggested and it worked:

    1) Turn off set time zone auto

    2) Turn off adjust for daylight savings

    3) Turn off set time auto

    4) Turn on adjust for daylight savings

    5) Turn on set time auto

Other combinations of the above settings that I tried before finding this post did not work.

re-setting time on my PC, Windows 10. Daylight savings time.

Windows 10 Daylight Savings Time Button Grayed Out.

    Hi Gary,

This issue may happen if your region or time zone doesn't observe Daylight Saving Time (DST).

To check if DST is available, follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + S.
    • Type Control Panel and press Enter.
    • Select Clock, Language, and Region.
    • Click Date and Time.
    • Under Time zone, check if there's any indications regarding Daylight Saving Time.

We'll keep an eye out for your response.
