    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Reactivating win XP in vmware

    I have a vmware virtual wqin XP machine and I have been asked to re-activate it (after over 10 years of use!). There is no reactivation number in Australia for XP. The 1800 number given asked for the code on my computer, then said those numbers were "invallid" and transferred me to a rep who said "there is no way to reactivate win XP". Is this only for Australia or is there a way?. My xp is on a vmware virtual machine I guess I could just change the system as some pirate sites suggest but why do I need to do this? I own the win xp since new and only use it to drive an old and very good scanner.
