    Reactivation after a hardware change


    Hello first of all. I had to change because the old one went bad. Last night everything worked perfectly, this morning as well. Had to do a restart and all of a sudden get a message that my Windows isn't Activated, getting this error code: 0xC004F213. I go through the troubleshooter, click through it, choose the system that I need to activate, click activate, and get this message "Unable to activate Windows. We can't reactivate Windows on this device. Try again later." When I log in my Microsoft account I clearly see the working version of the PC, pre-hardware change and after, with the new hardware. I got the digital license through upgrading from Windows 8.1, a while ago. And now I can't find the key as well.

    What can I do to fix it, other than buying a new key? Please help me.

    I just changed motherboards, and When I follow the the steps listed in the "reactivate windows 10 after hardware change" support page, it gives me the message "unable to activate windows" message after I sign in and identify my device,
    with no error code, just a subheader that says "can't activate windows 10 on this device, try again later."

    Windows 10 won't reactivate after a hardware change

    I changed a lot of the hardware on my device recently, however I followed the steps on the Microsoft support page to get my computer ready for the hardware change so that I could reactivate Windows 10 after I changed the hardware. However, now it won't reactivate,
    and has the error code 0xC004F025, and when I try to troubleshoot it says "We can't reactivate Windows on this device. Try again later."

    My Windows 10 was a free upgrade from Windows 7.
