Windows 10: Reactivation failed with Error Code 0xc004f213

Hi everyone,

so I had to change my motherboard due to the fact that it just Post anymore ( 6 Years old H97 Board so I guess its fine ). So I got an upgrade ( Ryzen Processor, DDR4 Ram and a B450 Board ). I thought after the replacement I just boot Win 10 Pro from my SSD, install the new Drivers and that´s it.

So Windows 10 boots up, Desktop looks like usual and then the Activation Info hits me. So I tried to reactivate but it failed. In the Activation Menu I choosed then Troubleshooting and there the Option " I have changed Hardware". It took a while but then the Name of my PC came up, selected it and clicked on Activate. But then it says " Could not be activated" with the error Code 0xc004f213. So what now? I don´t have the money right now to spend more than 100 bucks for a new license.

I get it that Microsoft want´s you to get a new license with a new PC but in a case that the mainboard just does not work anymore? Cmon that´s scam

So what can I do now?

Basic Info:

It was a free update from Win 8.1 Pro
I don´t have the License Key from the 8.1 Pro anymore

BIOS error codes

So I have motherboard with installed small LED screen, which presents BIOS error codes.

Where can I find a list of those errors. And I don't mean beep codes, but the "number" codes.

Ex after installing sound card, the motherboard startup fails with the code 15.

Windows 10 won't reactivate after a hardware change

I changed a lot of the hardware on my device recently, however I followed the steps on the Microsoft support page to get my computer ready for the hardware change so that I could reactivate Windows 10 after I changed the hardware. However, now it
won't reactivate, and has the error code 0xC004F213, and when I try to troubleshoot it says "We can't reactivate Windows on this device. Try again later."Try again lateTry again lateTry again late but not reactivate till now my Microsoft

Reactivating Windows after a hardware change

I originally purchased win7 and upgraded to win10 through the free program a couple of years ago. I recently upgraded the machine a bit (new motherboard), and was attempting to activate to no avail. The troubleshooter can see my linked account, but fails
to re-activate. Is the license not able to reactivate since it was the free version? Or is there something else that could cause this? The error code received is 0xC004F213.
