Can I run norton 360 deluxe with windows defender?

When installing a third party antivirus program, Windows Defender will deactivate automatically, because it's not good to have two antivirus programs running - they will get in conflict with each other if both was running.

And, another thing... If having problems installing for example Windows updates, you SOMETIMES can install them by deactivating realprotection on you r antivirus program... When doing that, also remember to deactivate Windows Defender, because it will get activated, when your Norton has been deactivated. Keep an eye on Windows Defender, because it will activate itself again after some minutes...
