  1. Realtek audio issues

    I think it's a driver issue, basically, I have a choice of 2 drivers:
High Definition Audio Device and Realtek High Definition Audio.

When I'm using HDAD my mic makes a constant buzzing sound that Discord and OBS can pick up, the solution for this is to go to the mic in control panel and activate noise suppression, however when using HDAD the tab noise suppression is under isn't there. So I swap to RHDA and then the tab appears and I can fix it but now I can't get audio to play through the headphones and so I can't hear anything.

Is there a solution here or do I just have to make everyone I talk to deal with the buzz?

    :)

  2. Audio driver issue (realtek)

I have hp 15-bc008tx, windows 10 creators update.

As you all know it comes with b&o play which is the main culprit in my issue. I found an solution online( link at the bottom) which suggested me to remove realtek HD audio driver (default) and go with high definition audio driver from Microsoft and to uninstall
realtek from control panel. I did as said and audio worked fine for one reboot no issue whatsoever but from the next reeboot onwards though the driver is still high definition (Ms) issue came back. I repeated the steps ,again fine audio for one reboot and
messed up for next reboot. I guess even though realtek is uninstalled it's somehow loading in the subsequent reboot. Please help me changing driver everytime for a movie is not enjoyable.

  3. Realtek Audio issue

Thanks so much for your response Fireberd.
Yes, I see where you're going. The HDMI that is functional is on the AMD Radeon card. The HDMI on the integrated panel is NOT functional which I just checked after receiving your response. I've pasted here the rear panel of the 8100 with respective ports. So neither audio or video are working on the integrated ports but the USB's are. I'm still wondering if this isn't a Realtek audio driver issue because while the current driver displays the 5.1 audio option in <Sound> it doesn't display the optical audio option for the rear panel port yet another Realtek driver I tried displayed the optical port but not the 5.1 option so it seems like I'm just not getting it right with the Realtek drivers I tried. Granted, a Realtek driver isn't going to resolve the integrated video issues but that may be a whole different driver issue just as the USB's are working on different support. Been on the Dell site many times but other than the Realtek driver I have installed I can't find any other audio drivers listed. Going to see if there's a Dell forum I can post to. I know other end users have upgraded this MB to Win10 and supposedly it's 100% functional. Thanks again for your response, let me know if you have any other suggestions!

The Ultimate Realtek HD Audio Driver Mod for Windows 10

I had the realtek error when using the installer, so I did these step and It Worked

    1.Go Open up device manager
    2. Go under sound, video, and game controllers
    3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
    4. Right click and hit update driver
    5. Browse my computer for driver software
    6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
    7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
    8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
    9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
    10. Click Next and Yes
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.
