Windows 10: Realtek audio problem after updating to 1809 update....

hi,

i recently updated my pc to 1809 update through update assistant. and discovered that an audio problem randomly comes. this issue is about sound popping out of the speakers. This happened with me before update also so i think it may not be related to this update. this only happened on latest realtek audio driver version(on previous windows version 1803). but on rolling back to its previous version will solve the problem.

so after updating to 1809, the audio driver is obviously going to be latest one and that problem still happening as mentioned above also. and now i cannot rollback to previous version as it is blocked.


also there's one more issue with this.

i discovered it in its audio properties > events, a message saying further installation.

this msg was this -


Device HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0255&SUBSYS_102806AE&REV_1000\4&2d6cb55c&0&0001 requires further installation.

i don't have any idea about this

can somebody help me with this.... i will appreciate it a lot.

I had the realtek error when using the installer, so I did these step and It Worked

1.Go Open up device manager
2. Go under sound,video, and game controllers
3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
4. Right click and hit update driver
5. Browse my computer for driver software
6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
10. Click Next and Yes
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.

Everyone that post ids, need just do these steps and you will be good. I kinda tired of keep on uploading the inf. file

additional if you want dts audio and others, install it now before next step.
