    Realtek Driver Not Migrated, Headphones Not Registering

    Hi guys,

    I hope you can help me out! I've been having this issue since the Windows 10 2004 update where my headphones only play audio if plugged in when my computer starts up. If I pull my headphones out and re-insert them, the sound plays through my speaker instead of my headphones.

    I went to my Device Manager to look at my speaker driver, and it says "Driver not Migrated". I went to driver details, and it says "No driver files are required or have been loaded to this device." Here's a more detailed event for the driver:
    "Device SWD\MMDEVAPI\{0.0.0.00000000}.{5707465d-b048-44ad-9533-7a687654d2ff} was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match.

    Last Device Instance Id: SWD\MMDEVAPI\{0.0.0.00000000}.{5efd5f83-04c2-46ae-8fdf-ade4e5f5747d}
    Class Guid: {c166523c-fe0c-4a94-a586-f1a80cfbbf3e}
    Location Path:
    Migration Rank: 0xF00000000000F120
    Present: false
    Status: 0xC0000719"

    My computer is a Dell Inspiron 15-3567, Windows 10 2004.

    I have no idea what any of these messages mean, can someone help me please?

    :)

    Now click on the button that says 'Roll back driver'.
    If the button is dimmed, make sure your Realtek drivers are currently installed.

    Step 6. If you did it correctly, the system should ask you to restart to finish. If it does then you finished the tutorial correctly!
    Once restarted, Open device manager again using step 1. Expand the 'sound, video and game controllers' category again.

    Step 7. If it says 'High Definition Audio Device' then you did it right. Here's a pic for example purposes:
