Windows 10: realtek front panel no audio

so i just make my first pc build. and after everything thing i found out that the front panel audio and mic are not working. first of, even after updating it it did not install realtek hd audio manager. so i found it downloaded it. and after when i did open, it was opened in asus rog supremefx. and i have no audio coming out of the front panel. when i plug in the back panel it works fine but front panel is not working. i watched multiple youtube videos and read numerous articles but nothing helped. the audio cable is good. i connected it again after. when i open the sound options i do not even see the headphones when plugged in.

i only see audio option from my monitor or a digital realtek audio.

also does anyone know that how to not open realtek audio manager in supremefx and have it open in a regular audio manager.

Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version [2]

I just built a new rig with a ASRock X470 Taichi motherboard and Win 10 64bit 1903. I downloaded the driver from my motherboard's site (Realtek high definition audio driver ver:8668_UAD_WHQL_DTS) and then ran the powershell script to detect the driver type.

Since I couldn't get more than 1 output, I also tried the latest driver in the 1st post (HDA DRIVER VERSION: 6.0.8716.1).

No matter what is plugged in, I only have 1 playback/output device.

• I plug my speakers into rear panel = audio plays out the speakers and listed as Speakers (Realtek Audio)
• I plug my headphones into front panel = audio plays out my headphones and listed as Speakers (Realtek Audio)
• I plug my headphones into front panel and speakers into rear panel = audio plays out of front panel and listed as Speakers (Realtek Audio)

I used to be able to switch between front and rear when both were plugged in. Anyone have any suggestions?

Post your FXConfigurator 2 screenshot (Realtek speakers endpoints) & try load W10_8.1_Realtek_Render.ini - >apply - >restart audio services ( only realtek audio effect)
make sure you select correct

I had the realtek error when using the installer, so I did these step and It Worked

1.Go Open up device manager
2. Go under sound,video, and game controllers
3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
4. Right click and hit update driver
5. Browse my computer for driver software
6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
10. Click Next and Yes
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.
