Windows 10: Realtek HD Audio Driver issue

Hi,

I've had a problem for years now with music lowering the volume briefly when in calls / windows notification popups. I've identified that the issue lies with the Realtek audio driver as when I uninstalled it the problem went away. However, without the driver my sound quality has reduced etc.

As soon as I reinstalled the Realtek driver with the latest update the problem was back. So I have now removed and am looking for a solution for a way I can use the driver without this problem occuring.

To confirm the problem is when a windows sound occurs, or when someone talks on discord my music will briefly lower drastically and return to the normal volume after a few seconds pass without any other interruptions. If someone continues to talk on discord the volume will stay low until they stop.

The Ultimate Realtek HD Audio Driver Mod for Windows 10

I had the realtek error when using the installer, so I did these step and It Worked

1.Go Open up device manager
2. Go under sound,video, and game controllers
3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
4. Right click and hit update driver
5. Browse my computer for driver software
6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
10. Click Next and Yes
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.

Everyone that post ids, need just do these steps and you will be good. I kinda tired of keep on uploading the inf. file

additional if you want dts audio and others, install it now before next step.

Audio driver issue (realtek)

I have hp 15-bc008tx, windows 10 creators update.

As you all know it comes with b&o play which is the main culprit in my issue. I found an solution online( link at the bottom) which suggested me to remove realtek HD audio driver (default) and go with high definition audio driver from Microsoft and to uninstall
realtek from control panel. I did as said and audio worked fine for one reboot no issue whatsoever but from the next reeboot onwards though the driver is still high definition (Ms) issue came back. I repeated the steps ,again fine audio for one reboot and
messed up for next reboot. I guess even though realtek is uninstalled it's somehow loading in the subsequent reboot. Please help me changing driver everytime for a movie is not enjoyable.
