Realtek HD Audio Manager swap center/ subwoofer output option gone!

    Hello!
I've been trying to set up a subwoofer, but the subwoofer is recognized as a center speaker instead. I read online that there's supposed to be an option to swap center/ subwoofer output or something similar, but the option is just not there. I know it's supposed to be there together with some other options under a picture of the 'setup'. The motherboard I have is Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3P.
Since this option would solve my problem it's really annoying it's not there!

Any answers are appreciated, and thanks in advance!

    :)

  2. Subwoofer not working with Realtek HD on Windows 10

I was having a similar problem with the Realtek HD Audio after upgrading Windows 10 to the latest Creator build. No sound from the Subwoofer when I have the 5.1 speaker system selected. It appeared that the center speaker and subwoofer were on the same
    channel.

My solution was by chance. I set my speaker configuration to Stereo in the Realtek HD Audio manager and all sound was restored to the subwoofer. Sound is working fine with this configuration.

Suffice to say, I am still sure that there is an issue that has to be resolved with the Realtek HD Audio driver and its compatability with the latest WIndows 10 build.

  3. Irregular audio from the 5.1 speaker system

Original title:- Windows 10 5.1 channel center subwoofer swap

    Hi,

I have a dell xps 15, with windows 10 pro. I recently bought a new hard drive and reinstalled windows. Since that time, i am observing that the audio is too bassy. I have a sound blaster audio software which helps me play audio through my 5.1 channel speaker
system. I noticed that the center channel is sending signal to the subwoofer and there is no audio coming to center speaker. I uninstalled all audio drivers from my system and installed the realtek driver that came with the system. even with that, I see the
same issue. I thought I will swap it, but in realtek I do not see any option to swap it. Is this some normal issue? I am not able to listen to movies or tv series, as the voice is too low and all background sound is loud.

    please help me out.
