Windows 10: Realtek High Definition Driver can not be found

Hi everyone.


I noticed a problem regarding to my audio drivers. One day, I booted up my PC just like any other day but I noticed that it has no sound. So, I mean that the Realtek High Definition Audio driver is gone. I cant find it on the Device manager even when I click on ''Show hidden devices'' and I cant find it on the Taskmanager under ''Startup'' either. What can I do to solve this problem? As you might think, this is very frustrating.

Hi

Yesterday Realtek high definition driver update by window update menu, after update these driver sound is not working.

Please suggest me and provide appropriate driver for the sound.

NOT WORKING-Realtek audio drivers and Microsoft High Definition device

I've seen some videos which just tell you to update Realtek HD driver to the Microsoft driver. Sometimes it works for a while then it stops working. I just go into Device Manager>Sound, video and game controllers> Realtek High Definition audio (right click)>
Update driver software> Browse from my computer> Let me pick from a list of drivers on my computer> High Definition audio device. It should update.

 

Realtek High Definition Audio

Download a newer version of the driver from the realtek website, install it and check if the sound comes back.

If not, uninstall the realtek Driver by:

• Open device manager
• Sound Video and Game controllers
• Right click realtek high definition audio device and select uninstall driver software
• Make sure the checkbox "Delete the device software for this device is checked"
