Windows 10: Realtek Manager refuses to work!

I'm literally past my wits end, I have tried every which way to get it to run, automatically updating it, manually, uninstalling and reinstalling, resetting my pc, updating user to full control, just nothing seems to work.


There is no little icon on the task bar nor is it on the Control panel, yet it is present in the Device manager and apparently opens on start up but it doesn't run. I have always used Windows 10 on this PC and it use to work, I don't know when it stopped.


The furthest I can get with it is the pop up box for "allow this app to make changes", I click yes and then nothing. Nothing I have done has worked and I just keep searching for a method I may have not tried but I seem to have tried everything out there that should fix it and it just doesn't correct it.


I've heard mention that is doesn't work with version 1903 of windows 10, but I think my problem was before then. If it is literally just waiting for a new version to come out that corrects the mistake Microsoft have made with 1903, that could take forever!


Please someone, help.

5.1 not working and Realtek Device Manager is missing

It is suggested by some for you to open your task manager, and see if Realtek HD Audio Manager is listed on boot on startup

Headphones not working and Realtek HD Audio Manager

• Did you check if your headphones work on other device?
• Did you check if your headphone drivers are detected under Device manager?

I suggest you to check if similar issue persists on connecting the same headphones to another computer. If the issue does not persists, I suggest you to check if the headphone drivers are detected under Device manager by following the steps below:

• Press Windows logo + X keys on the keyboard select
  Device Manager from the options.
• Expand Audio inputs and outputs option and check if the headphone drivers are visible in the window.
• Right-click on the headphone driver and select Update this software
  option.
• Follow the on-screen instructions and wait for the update to complete.
• Close the window after the update is complete and check if the changes are effective.

If the headphone drivers are not visible, I suggest you to download and install the latest and most compatible driver software from the device manufacturer’s website and check if the issue is resolved.

The Ultimate Realtek HD Audio Driver Mod for Windows 10

I had the realtek error when using the installer, so I did these step and It Worked

1.Go Open up device manager
2. Go under sound,video, and game controllers
3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
4. Right click and hit update driver
5. Browse my computer for driver software
6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
10. Click Next and Yes
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.
