Windows 10: Realtek R Audio not responding

Discus and support Realtek R Audio not responding in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I have an Acer Aspire A315-56.     Realtek R Audio not responding


    I have an Acer Aspire A315-56. It has been working perfectly fine, until one day when I booted it up and clicked a YouTube video, I got a small amount of static, then no sound.


    I right-clicked on the "Sound" icon in the taskbar, and used the troubleshoot option. It told me that the audio driver was not responding.


    I tried some things I found online - Using services.msc to restart the drivers as well as set them to automatic, sfc /scannow, and I even restored my laptop to a previous point system registry restoration. Still, I am faced with the same problem.


    I can use headphones and the likes, but I normally use the laptop speakers, and if they're not working then I obviously can't use them.


    Any help would be well appreciated!

    How to get rid of Realtek (R) audio

    If you mean the Realtek Audio Console, you have to follow the steps necessary to uninstall a UWP app. There's a TF tutorial for that: Uninstall Apps in Windows 10 | Tutorials.

    You can also check to see if the settings are adjustable like this....

    Select the volume icon in the taskbar and select open volume mixer:
