Windows 10: Realtek RTL8188CU Wireless LAN 802.11n USB 2.0 Network Adapter Not Being Recognised on...

Hello there,


Recently i’ve been having problems with Windows 10. My adapter is not being recognised, meaning i cannot connect to the internet on my PC. Hence why i am writing this with an IPhone.


I am in need of solutions, I have done so much troubleshooting to the point windows just tells me to connect an ethernet cable now.

i cannot update drivers as i have no internet! What can i do?!

I bought a wifi adapter dongle RTL8188CU Realtek Wireless USB Adapter via Aliexpress with whom I have a problem and I can not connect to the Internet.The device is operating normally on windows 7 but with windows 10 can not work.The
same story is when I try on windows 8.1, is not working.I've tried many types of drivers but it's always the same story. The problem is that it connects to my router, but it shows the SSID reported that there is no internet access. He
can not obtain an IP address from the router via DHCP. Please note that the Windows 7 device is operating normally, even with the windows drivers. Does anybody can help me?

 

USB-LAN adapter not recognised

Please verify the model ln-030 v3 001 - I couldn't find v3 on Site.com
The ln-030 has a few HW revisions - please post a screen shot of the label

There are older drivers for the v1 HW, but no drivers for the v2 HW

Arc's suggestion to use Windows Update and Jimbo's suggestions to connect a cable to your USB LAN adapter and to your network + use a USB 2.0 port are good places to start.

 

REALTEK USB Wireless LAN Adapter setup failed.

I have been trying to setup a wireless USB adapter from 2 days but i'm failed. It's a "USB 2.0 Wireless 802.11N" Lan Adapter. When i connect it to computer it's driver showing up to the device manager for a few seconds and then vanish. Sometime the driver
stay up a long time but i can't configure Wifi. When i connected it, in device manager under network adapter it shows "Realtek RTL8188FTV Wireless LAN 802.11n USB 2.0 Network Adapter" some time it comes up with a yellow sign. I'm tried to setting it. My computer
windows version is 10 pro and it is up to date.





it's a picture of 300 Mbps but mine is 600 Mbps.

One more thing when i setup the driver from CD included with the adapter its installed but the problem remain the same.
