Windows 10: Reasons For Cent Portable Browser Not Launching?

Downloaded from official site. Cent portable works just fine on my 3 yr old Lenovo P51 with ancient Windows v. 1703 however when downloaded and extracted and run as admin (or not) on my newer Lenovo E480 win ver 1803 cent will not launch. Zilch. Any suggestions on why? Portable FastStone Image Viewer 6.4 works just fine so I do not believe that portable apps in general is the problem If I can avoid I would rather stick with the portable version of cent browser. TIA.

Point me to a portable net browser

As the title says, although it should support Greasemonkey add-on, also It can handle multi profile.

I tried firefox portable although the firefox -p prof name -no-remote did not work.

Was planning to use it on my flashdrive so I wouldn't set up the add-ons all over again once I get to work.

Any browser will do as long as it's portable and can handle Greasemonkey.

Also share your pros and cons for each suggestion.

Browser launches after sleep

Hi and thank you for your response, followed the steps above and rebooted sadly still no change. Browser still launches after sleep. I have tried what you suggest plus number of variations of uninstall, reinstall, downloading latest vendor drivers, using
windows update to to get lastest drivers and letting control panel install drivers all with no change. Is there anything else you can suggest?

Have you tried resetting your browser? If not, we suggest you to do so. To reset Edge, follow these steps:

  Close the browser and launch it again.
  

If the issue persist, follow these other steps:

• 
  Go to
  Task Manager.
  
• 
  Click on

  End the task.
