    Rebooted windows and colors seem washed out...


    So this morning, I was working on my pc windows 10 and then my power went out for 3 hours. Later on when I booted my computer back up, all the colors seemed "washed out". For example, the chrome logo. Red, green, yellow, blue. It used to be very vibrant but now it's just "bland".

    I wonder why nobody has suggested the OP to make a screenshot of display showing these "washed out colors"? Everything I have read in this thread suggests that the issue is not in Windows, but instead in display / monitor.

    My suggestion: next time you'll see these washed out colors, make a screenshot and post it here. If the screenshot shows us that colors are OK, then the issue is your monitor failing.

    Windows 10 washed out colors

    I have washed out colors.

    I have tried calibrating colors. I booted into safe mode and it's still washed out. I have reinstalled nvidia drivers.

    Fully up to date Windows 10

    i76700K

    980ti (drivers are updated)

    1TB NVME SSD

    32 GB RAM
