Windows 10: Receiving Error 0x8007007A: "the data area passed to a system call is too small" when...

I am trying to back up my files from my primary "C" drive to my internal backup drive and receiving Error 0x8007007A: "the data area passed to a system call is too small" . All of the files blocking my backup have been fine for 10 years and now won't copy. Help! There is a closed post from last year pertaining to this same issue, but I'm seeking a real solution. I am running Windows 11 on an HP desktop PC, all current updates installed. I am trying to copy files to an SSD external storage, My Passport, but I keep getting error 0x8007007A, "the data area passed to a system call is too small". The file names and paths are not long. The computer has recently been restarted several times for updates. I have been using this SSD for some time. This is a new problem. Any solution ideas?

Exploring a secondary backup solution for my Windows 10 install. Acronis ATI 2017 works fine, less than 7 minutes to image a 60GB partition to a SSD backup (Intel 510 120GB) but Backup and Restore (Windows 7) fails after a long while, having written over
100GB to the backup and terminating with" Error Code 0x8007007A - "The data area passed to a system call is too small".

(SSD freshly formatted - no errors)

Note: Backing up with either app to a magnetic disk with the same scenario works fine!

Any Ideas??
