  1. Recent major Windows ten update broke the os

During a recent Windows update when it begins to restart the PC, after installing components, on re-boot it displayed an error message "Missing Operating System". System repair didnt work, backup and recovery didnt work, recorver from a system image didnt work all error messages said that one did not exist. Same results in safe mode. Now I have to start and restart the pc to eventually get it to come up on the blue Windows repair screen. I have done every solution suggested. Can't use bios because it freezes when selecting an option with or without the HDD selected. I have tried reinstalling Windows with a disc and nothing happens just how black screen and the keyboard and mouse will shut off, tried installing with a usb drive and the 1 time bios Didnt freeze it said there wasn't any is drive to boot from. I've unplugged and let sit, ive tried everything with the GPU unplugged still the same results, I've even replaced the cmos battery and cleared bios through the jumper and still all the same results. Did Windows ten update really just kill my pc

    System specs

MSI-970A G43plus grade 4 mil board, AMD 6300 processor 3.5GHZ, 6800AMD HD 1gbGPU, 16gbDDR4 ram, 2TB HDD, 64 but system on Windows 10 home ran fine until rebooting after a recent update.

anyone recently update your Fedora 11 system and notice video card issues? Well after an update it stopped using the x nvidia drivers from kmod-nvidia. so i uninstall kmod-nvidia and reinstalled it. i rebooted the system and now all i get when it loads the OS is a flashing cursor in the upper left hand corner of a blank screen.

you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.
