Windows 10: Record Screen in Movie Maker 10 - Tell Your Story

I can't record screen with Movie Maker 10 PRO. How can I record screen? I don't know how to change graphics settings. I use Nvidia geforce 1080 ti

Story Remix vs Windows Movie Maker vs Windows Live Movie Maker

Just wondering, if you use Microsoft's video editing tools, do you use the discontinued Windows Movie Maker (Windows ME/XP/Vista) / Windows Live Movie Maker (Windows 7), or do you use the new Story Remix in Windows 10?

To start, I use Story Remix.

 

Movie Maker does not record anymore

As a first step, I suggest repair Movie Maker and check if it works for you. This is to check if there is any missing or damaged files for Windows Essentials.

Follow the steps below repair Movie Maker:

1. Press Windows + R, input AppWiz.cpl, then click
OK.

2. Search for Windows Essentials 2012 on the list and then select it.

3. Click Uninstall/Change.

4. Click Repair all Windows Essentials programs.
