Windows 10: recover file

i want to recover my powerpoint that i didnt save before shut down but when i press the recover unsaved presentations, there's no file there. actually before when i open my powerpoint, there is the discovery tab open but i click close without viewing and the option for save recovers file didnt appear when i open in the next time. help me out, this is the most important things

Recover files from Flash drive

Does not work on a windows pc which is what the OP probably intended

windows by default does not have HFS and HFS+ based hard drives.
Able to perform retrieval on both HFS and HFS+ based hard drives. and so will not work with windows
