Windows 10: Recover pages from InPrivate mode

Hi All,

I had a few pages opened in Internet Explorer in private mode. I left them open and Windows update/restart caused system restart and those links are gone.

Is there a way to recover those links? They are for a project and important. Does windows saved those somewhere?


Secondly, how to turn this auto update/restart off. This is really annoying.

Download a photo in InPrivate window

Yes Andre it's the same image.

As a test I went to my start page, selected Images & typed in Rose. I tried this with InPrivate Mode & non InPrivate Mode saving the same photo. In InPrivate Mode I can only save as a PNG or Bitmap, no jpeg is on the drop down list. In non InPrivate Mode
I can save as a jpeg. I do not have the same file > save options for both. What can be causing this?

Thank you for the feedback, David. Generally, InPrivate browsing will not be active and need to be initiated manually. If
InPrivate browsing opens when you try to launch Internet Explorer, you can try these steps to disable it:

• Right-click on the Internet Explorer icon and click-on
  Properties.
• Under Target, the path should be "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" (with the quotation marks.) If
  -inprivate is suffixed, removed it and click the OK button.
