Windows 10: recovery mode with error code 0xc0000225, unable to access startup settings.

My PC abruptly entered recovery mode with error code 0xc0000225, unable to access startup settings. I can access the firmware settings InsydeH20 setup utility. Any assistance in resolving this issue promptly would be greatly appreciated. Data restoration is not a concern; restoring PC functionality is my priority.

After i updated to windows 10 i was put in a reboot loop and then eventually recovery mode with the error code 0xc0000225 with only the options of try again press f8 for startup settings and press esc for UEFI Firmware settings. i have an asus eeebook
x205ta and i don't have any disk or usb drive that came with it.
