Windows 10: Recurring BSOD. Continually getting various errors: Kernel Security Error, Memory Error,...

Hello, I was recently playing the new Gears 5 on PC when my pc BSOD. I have been able to get it to work for short amount of times but it will either BSOD with various errors generally related to memory management.

I have followed online guides about uninstalling recent programs or updates. I uninstalled Gears as well as any programs installed in the last week. I checked the microsoft update for updates(and uninstalled/ reinstalled one of the last ones). Nothing seems to fix it and sometimes trying to install things instantly crashes.

Currently I have a 1.5 year old Crucial CT1000MX500SSD1 and 6 month old 2 x 8GB G skill though I don't know the see the exact model in system information. Windows 10, B450 Auros Elite, and AMD 2600.

If anyone has any advice or recommendation I would greatly appreciate it.

Window 10 Error : Kernel Security Check Error

Hi There,

My system frequently crashes, and keep getting error and blue screen, stating that my system will need to restart.

• Kernel Security Check Error
• Kernel Memory Dump Error

Few other that I don't remember, I have updated all the necessary drivers, could you please let me know what has to be done, to have this resolved.

+1 to listing your full system specs, OS version, etc. I did only look at your BSOD log file.

Run a Diskchk /R (I know you already ran one, so you can skip this)

Run SFC /SCANNOW

Report back.

 

Getting BSOD 0x124 error

Ignore what everone said here.

0x124 BSOD is usually related to VCCIO (VTT), run Prime95 version 26.6 with custom sizes of 512K to 640K with 50% of your memory for at least 8 hours.

If you get a 0x124 BSOD, increase VCCIO voltage by small steps, run Prime95 again until your stable.

If you pass Prime95 512K to 640K without a BSOD, then its Vcore too low. I'd suggest running IntelBurnTest with 80% of your memory to verify stability (8 to 12 hours).

Oh, and yeah, if this problem appeared all of the sudden, the reason is CPU degradation, you can prevent it by enabling C-States or adjust your overclock to use lower voltages.
