Windows 10: Recycle bin delete confirmation dialog box won't shut off

Discus and support Recycle bin delete confirmation dialog box won't shut off in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; I have opened the recycle bin properties and "Display delete confirmation dialog" is unchecked. but it still appears.     Recycle bin delete confirmation dialog box won't shut off


    I have opened the recycle bin properties and "Display delete confirmation dialog" is unchecked. but it still appears. Any idea how to shut this off?

    How to Stop Recycle Bin Delete Confirmation Dialog

    Unfortunately there is no way to remove the notification when emptying the recycle bin. The "Display delete confirmation dialog" box is the dialog box when you move an item to the recycle bin. I hope that answers your question.

    How to Stop Recycle Bin Delete Confirmation Dialog

    I just bought a new Dell XPS 13 and even though the "Display delete confirmation dialog" box is
    NOT checked in Recycle Bin properties, I still get the delete confirmation dialog when I empty the Recycle Bin. I've checked the box, restarted, unchecked the box, restarted...nothing works.

    Thanks, Mike. Obviously the past 15 years on a Mac have dulled my Windows sensory skills Recycle bin delete confirmation dialog box won't shut off :) And thanks to everyone else who weighed in on my question.
