    recycle bin

    Hi George,

To prevent your files from being deleted from the Recycle Bin, we suggest increasing the maximum file size your Recycle Bin can keep by following the steps below:

    • Right click on the Recycle Bin icon.
    • Under the Settings for selected location, select Custom size.
    • Fill up the box for your allotted maximum file size for your Recycle Bin.
Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Recycle Bin/File Explorer

Hi Ginette. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

The Recycle Bin exists in a file explorer. Is the File Explorer you're seeing for the Recycle Bin or something else.

To reset the Recycle bin see here:

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
