Windows 10: Recycle Bin isn’t working as expected

    Recycle Bin isn’t working as expected


    When I mark the files in the Recycle Bin that I want to delete only part of them get deleted and I see them saved in the Bin. But when I get back there a while later, they are missing. It is really annoying

    Hi George,

    To prevent your files from being deleted from the Recycle Bin, we suggest increasing the maximum file size your Recycle Bin can keep by following the steps below:

    • Right click on the Recycle Bin icon.
    • Under the Settings for selected location, select Custom size.
    • Fill up the box for your allotted maximum file size for your Recycle Bin.

    Recycle Bin problem in Windows10

    I can move files to Recycle Bin but I can't move folders to recycle bin windows 10. why?

    When I try to do that, explorer crashing and folder still isn`t deleted. But when I check "Don`t move files to the Reycle Bin. Remove files immediatly when deleted" in Recycle Bion properties, then I can delete folder but explorer still crashing.

    We highly suggest to follow the steps below:

    • Click the Start button , type desktop icons into the search box, and then click Show or hide common icons on the desktop.
    • In the Desktop Icon Settings dialog box, do one of the following: To hide the Recycle Bin, clear the Recycle Bin check box. ...
    • Click OK.
