Windows 10: Recycle Bin to taskbar?

Success at last! Just want to again sincerely thank you guys for hanging in there with me while I floundered around. I'm not a computer maven, but I very much enjoy tuning my browser (Firefox) and Windows GUI so that they look and act exactly the way I want them to. BTW, before we end this session, am I right in assuming that: 1-The original desktop Recycle Bin Icon can't be removed from the desktop (like to keep a clean desktop)? 2-The Recycle Bin icon that now resides next to Task View Button can't be placed into my line up of taskbar program icons?

When simply right clicking on the original Recycle Bin icon you can create the new "shortcut to recycle bin" shortcut you rename after first taking care of hiding the original by way of the right click on desktop, selecting the Personlize option to go from there into Themes and the Desktop icon settings option as seen in the snipping here.





Once you have the Recycle Bin box unchecked it disappears completely from the desktop as would any of the others seen there. The new shortcut is then simply renamed by a right click before dragging into a new toolbar intended folder you will always have in case you inadvertently unpin the shortcut you simply use the new toolbar option to drag a new into the same folder to reappear once again. This is why the guide posted earlier is a bit more practical in the long run.

 

In case this helps anyone. I found this 3rd party utility " Minibin." to be a pretty good replacement and it comes complete with several different 'skins' to allow representing various levels of 'full-to-empty' Says for Windows 7 or later and has been working on my Windows 10 Pro x64 with no problems.
